SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

We are looking for a smart, strategic, and detail-oriented social media manager to join our team. This individual will coordinate with an awesome team of strategists and designers to create and execute effective social content and paid media campaigns across multiple social media channels. Qualified candidates must demonstrate a proven track record in their field and should be able to show positive results, including followers/subscribers gained, engagement achieved, and a net positive impact on sales during their direct work on previous projects. Candidates must have the technical and analytical skills and experience necessary to build and maintain engaged customer followings, working proactively and efficiently even in situations when direction may be limited.

When interviewing for this job, be prepared to speak about your experience in the various platforms mentioned above, including the strategies and tactics used to generate results. Be prepared to talk about measurable KPIs, including CTRs, relevance scores, A/B tests, and more. We need someone who is confident, creative, and collaborative.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage social media campaigns and day-to-day activities
  • Develop campaigns and regular content relative to each client’s audience
  • Create, curate, and manage content on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter
  • Monitor and respond to social media users
  • Oversee design for social platforms (ie: social media graphics for Facebook covers, profile pictures, ads, image posts, etc.)
  • Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed
  • Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and video editors to create monthly content calendars with recommended ad budgets and content strategies
  • Paid social media campaign planning and management
  • Audience development and optimization
  • Schedule posts, manage and monitor social media content/campaigns for multiple Clients
  • Research, vet, and coordinate with influencers and like-minded brand partners
  • Monitor competitors’ activities and look for new content and collaboration opportunities for clients
  • Provide monthly analytics reports highlighting KPIs for each platform, including reach, impressions, audience growth, engagement, ad recall lift rate, cost per engagement, and sales. Reports will also include key Google Analytics metrics with recommendations for future content optimization

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-5+ years of experience developing social media campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn based on data and best practices
  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience in marketing, advertising, communications, or related field
  • Social media knowledge: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter
  • Knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager
  • Skills: leadership, self-starter, ambitious, strong communication both verbal and written, organized, responsible, multitasker, hard worker
  • Fluid in Adobe Suite
  • Proven track record of gaining large fan base and improved campaign KPIs through social media channels you were directly in charge of
  • Proficient in audience set creation, A/B testing, monitoring and analytics reporting (Google analytics, Facebook analytics, etc.)
  • Excellent copywriting skills & a great sense of humor
  • Excellent time-management and communications skills
  • Excellent attention to detail – grammar, spelling, hashtags, etc.
  • Knowledgeable about the latest social media trends & analytics tools

SKILLS PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:

  • Knowledge of social media scheduler platforms (i.e. Planable)
  • Knowledge of website development programs
  • Practical knowledge of PPC, SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Bilingual
