Intern Responsibilities

Student Interns will learn and adapt to the agency workflow. They will get hands-
on experience in multiple departments that contribute to digital and traditional
marketing. Student Educational Benefits include but are not limited to:
•Develop and schedule social media calendars
•Create content for social media platforms and websites
•Research markets for diverse clients
•Assist with web development for multiple websites
•Brainstorm unique and creative strategies for social media, events, and more

Skills Required

Public Alliance is seeking a high-energy, outgoing person with a passion for digital marketing. Applicants should be an active participant in digital strategy with an appetite for proactively staying on top of the latest trends, platforms and information in search engine marketing (e.g. SEO, PPC), social media, analytic reporting and email marketing. You will be on point to measure community metrics to gauge campaign effectiveness, provide feedback to client teams to optimize campaigns in real time, and prepare reports for clients. You will possess in-depth knowledge of digital marketing and are adept at leveraging that knowledge/experience to communicate strategically on behalf of large consumer brands. This is a contracted position that could lead to a full-time salary position.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct keyword research & analysis for campaigns
  • Perform website Search Engine Optimization and Citations
  • Execute and optimize PPC digital ad and re-marketing campaigns
  • Produce Campaign and website analytic reports
  • Search Engine Optimization and SEO Citations / Search Engine Marketing
  • Curate relevant and timely content for social media advertising
  • Produce email marketing campaigns
  • Improve sales and ROI within web strategies
  • Advise on targeted digital ad buys
  • Manage Google business listings

Qualifications and Skills

  • Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree at a college with a major in marketing, communications, advertising, public relations, or a related field.
  • Previous experience at an agency is a plus.
  • 2+ years of marketing or related job experience.
  • Excellent writing skills, well versed in content development for digital platforms
  • Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Google Adwords certification is a plus.
  • Familiarization with Google Tools such as Adsense, Adwords, Keyword Planner, Analytics necessary.
