Open Positions

The Public Alliance Marketing Assistant Internship offers students a broad-based view and understanding of the inner-workings of a full-service advertising agency. Serving as a generalist, the Marketing Assistant will have the opportunity to work in several roles and within various departments. By supporting the agency’s executives and staff the Marketing Assistant will help ensure the functionality and coordination of the activities of the various agency departments.

The Marketing Assistant will support the work of the senior managers and account executives and will also work closely with the agency staff in the various departments, which include ART (graphic design/branding, etc.) and DIGITAL (social media marketing and advertising, SEO, Search Engine Marketing, etc.) The Marketing Assistant will be supervised by the senior managers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in development and execution of active marketing/advertising programs and campaigns.
  • Work closely with creative team to support the development of marketing/advertising programs and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with staff to create innovative ways to build agency’s brand awareness and develop new business opportunities.
  • Be available as a resource for all staff who need assistance with completing programs and campaigns.


  • Must have basic marketing & communications skills, and/or strong administrative support skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented, with a strong, professional work ethic.
  • Must have their own laptop.
  • Must have excellent grammar skills and decent writing skills.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Experience with major social media platforms preferred.
