Job Description

Public Alliance is a full service advertising agency and is seeking an Account Executive who will be responsible for managing the daily client-agency interactions/relations on multiple accounts.

The person we seek will have prior advertising agency experience, be detail-oriented, extremely organized and able to multi-task. Deadlines are crucial, so having a sense of urgency and the ability to work quickly while still delivering quality work is highly important. A team player with strong communication skills is a must. We also look for fun, outgoing individuals with a good sense of humor to join our team.

As our Account Executive, you will have input in the daily marketing strategies for clients assigned to you and be responsible for the execution of those plans.

Our ideal candidate will possess good oral and written communication skills, represent our company in a professional manner, be knowledgeable in both traditional and digital marketing, be responsive to clients and agency management, and have good problem solving skills.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Meeting clients to discuss their advertising needs
  • Managing current client workflow
  • Presenting campaign ideas and budgets to clients
  • Briefing the creative/digital team who will produce creative items
  • Contribute to the quality and substance of strategic and creative work
  • Check and approve creative/production materials, copy, layouts, and production art, and coordinate client approvals
  • Coordinate and manage client project deadlines
  • Negotiating with clients, solving any problems and making sure deadlines are met
  • Checking and reporting on the client’s campaign progress
  • Maintaining communication with client
  • Conduct internal status meetings
  • Assisting in business development

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree and up to 3 years experience in advertising or a related industry
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of, and a thoughtful POV on the basic principles of marketing, advertising and media
  • Demonstrate an ability to manage and nurture relationships both internally and externally with clients and agency partners
  • Have at least 1 year of agency experience


Required Skills and Abilities:

Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, Google Analytics, WordPress, Adobe Suite is a plus.

Intern Responsibilities

Student Interns will learn and adapt to the agency workflow. They will get hands-
on experience in multiple departments that contribute to digital and traditional
marketing. Student Educational Benefits include but are not limited to:
•Develop and schedule social media calendars
•Create content for social media platforms and websites
•Research markets for diverse clients
•Assist with web development for multiple websites
•Brainstorm unique and creative strategies for social media, events, and more
