The Team
Kenneth Mireles has more than 25 years of professional experience in public policy, politics, and public relations. Before establishing Public Alliance in 2005, he served as chief of staff to Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff for four years, managing staff, operations, and communications. During his tenure, Ken helped develop and implement several countywide policy initiatives that continue today. From 1994 to 2001, Ken served in policy and communications positions at the U.S. Department of Labor, U.S. Department of Energy, and U.S. Department of the Interior. Ken, who holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in College Station and a master’s degree from Georgetown University in Washington, is also a Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) Fellow and an alumnus of the Harvard Kennedy School Senior Executives in State & Local Government Program.
Jonathon Holler is a proven communications executive who has worked in both agency and in-house roles in lobbying and strategic external communication initiatives. He brings international corporate and political experience, from managing the reputations of global firms in the aviation, agri-food, and amusement sectors, such as Europe’s leading tourist destination Disneyland Paris, to chairing Democrats Abroad France – a branch of the U.S. Democratic Party. Holler holds degrees from the University of California at Santa Barbara and Paris-Panthéon-Assas University.
Alex Trevino is a campaign and news veteran and award-winning broadcast journalist who started his career in television news, working at TV stations in the Rio Grande Valley and Washington, DC. He has been recognized for his accomplishments in field reporting, producing, writing and work on the anchor desk. Alex most recently served as Campaign Spokesman and Traveling Press Secretary for Governor Greg Abbott and Senator John Cornyn. Before this, he was also a senior advisor at the General Services Administration (GSA) in Washington where he led White House initiatives for client agencies, corporations, and non-profit organizations. Alex is a graduate of Texas State University.
